Got a check gas cap warning pop up on my display this morning. Car drove fine, ran fine, I floored it to see if anything bad would happen Nothing happened except what was suppose to happen, car accelerated.

Checked my Interceptor guage and saw a p0455 code. My guess is the Evap purge solonoid? I have to open it some how yes?

 

did u take ur gas cap off and put it back on? that should fix it, u still have to erase the code

 

you can erase the code, check the gas gap, but the true test is to let your gas tank get low fill it up and if it hesitates to restart then the solenoid is bad, you can either take it in for warranty or fix it yourself

 

im just gonna ignore it and if it comes back within a year I will take care of it.

 

the part is cheap and takes 4 seconds to replace i got a friend to grab me one it was only 15 bucks
