I have a 2008 TC with a trifecta tune, 23 psi I think.. honestly didn't bother to ask.

My car under WOT and ONLY in 5kish rpm, it stumples. Like bad. It feels like I'm hitting the Rev limiter or governer, and it only happens sometimes.. but it's scary because it just stops. No power no boost.. then I shift and everything is back. Never happens in other gears or other rpm..

New spark plugs, oem Delco iridium, 93 octane only..

Any info would be great.. idk what it could be and I'm afraid to step on it now.. which is no fun with a 3 week old tune..

 

have a tuner check data logs and see if they can see what is happening maybe.

 

My car did this when the plugs weren't gapped correctly. What gap are you running?

 

I texted Geoff who tuned me, gotta check gapping and we're going to log.. but the iridium plugs aren't gapable as far as I know.. so I bought the Delco part number that was factory to the car.. I'd assume they're right but I'll be pulling those tonight to be sure..

.035 is the right gap?

 

I'm at .032, I've heard some go as low as .030. You might try and close them up to .032.

 

Im at .30 probably could of stayed at .32 but i was trying to fix a problem ended up needing to replace my TB. But ive heard of people going down to .28
