Ported IM and TB made a gain.
As the title says, I finally got a chance to test out the Manifold and Throttle Body that I ported on my ride in today. I did drive it the night I completed it, and the butt dyno suggested it had more midrange, but the logger confirmed it today. I was typically pulling 4.7-4.8 60-100 times with Downpipe, ZZP CP, Box Mod and Tune (23psi, .86-.88 and 16* peak, nothing crazy). Now that I added the Ported Manifold and Throttle Body Ive been having a lot of trouble getting a clean pull, the car RIPS 3rd gear now with ease! I did a couple 60-100 pulls on my ride in today and both were in between 4.58 and 4.62! Nothing has changed other then the Manifold and TB, I even had a lil bit of KR around 5K, so Ill bet the ride home pulls a lower 4.5 second 60-100
It only took us about 30 minutes to remove the Manifold and Throttle Body from the car. Then about 2-3 hrs for all of the porting and polishing work. A worthwhile mod for a Saturday Afternoon!
Edit: Here are the pics of a untouched Manifold and Throttle Body:

Some pics of what we did:

(There's Black Marker on the Manifold but you can see the sides and top could use some Porting while the bottom has metal left that matches the head, leave this unless you are porting the head at the sametime)

(This is the gasket on the head to see how I came up with what I would remove)

(This is after a rough porting, I didn't take finalized pics)

(The back of the TB has a nasty bump and edge here, I left it slightly making a bump but made it less severe and smoothed it out going into the bump)

(The front of the TB is really crazy, all kinds of weird contours and edges. I tried to keep most of the shape while opening it up more and smoothing it out some. The bottom edge slopes out toward the edge, so on this portion I "knife edged" that lip a bit so there is no wall for the incoming air to hit.)
My pics do suck, and I didn't take them as I finished the Manifold or the before pics of the TB etc.. DartSi is sending me a set to do for him, I will take plenty of pics with the DSLR this time so you can see exactly what was done, and more clearly! A lot of this is really hard to understand without seeing it in person too.
Im also hosting a dyno meet on March 5th where I will be testing this new setup out. I have my old plots saved there since I pretty much always use the same place, so I will easily be able to overlay them and see where it makes gains!

awesome!, I'm gonna do my manifold and supercharger when It gets warm. I had "reduced engine power" because the amount of air coming in compared to the normal amount by throttle position was swung off, but otherwise I got a decent gain from the TB porting myself.
both my intake mani and TB are out for delivery. damn UPS is taking forever to get to BYT. lol. should be any hour now. not that it makes a diffrence, im just very anxious. between this and my SLP dual exhaust set up im all giddy.

Just a gasket match on the Manifold and then cleaned up the runners a bit. The TB got more of the "reshaping". Ill have some before pics up in a lil bit, I just opened the boxes up
