Possible stock bpv issue.
don't have the AEM elbow... as far as the flutter, I have eliminated mine by letting the car warm up, and I bet ANY setup would have flutter without letting the car get properly warmed up... especially with the drop in K&N, etc... with the STOCK setup(stock filter, stock snorkel), no, you wouldn't hear it... it would still be there, just that setup is so quite it wouldn't be able to be heard

Dealer said it seems to be the bpv but they are blaming it on my after market exhaust and chargepipes......they are going to decide what they are goingto do tomorrow. They said I needed a bigger vacumme tank and I told themthey don't make such a thing. So when I got home, I bypassed it and it still did the same thing. They said that there is no vacumme leaks, and the bypass diaphram isn't ripped or anything. He said it's almost like it's the spring then he proceeded to ask me if I have an aftermarket spring, and I said he'll no.
Dunno what to do. They wanted to charge $200 for the visit but I said **** that.
I just dunno
Bump
Come on guys....... There's gotta be someone out there that's has/had the same or similar issue

I had the AEM CAI in and it was pretty bad, but got much better when I went back to the stock elbow. But, it is worst for me at WOT in 3rd around 2.5k rpm (or 3.5k, I can't remember). I've been told it is more annoying than dangerous but I still like multiple opinions...

I went out and checked all vac lines and they are connected and fine. The clamps on the charge pipes are fine, on both the hot and cold side. Just did the tank bypass mod again this time I disconnected my battery. When I tried it yesturday, the car was boggy and acting wierd. I don't think the k&n filter would cause the issue, it would just magnafy the sound if anything. Again, it only does this once I'm under 0psi. Anything above that it's fine. I made an appt at the dealer I bought the car from, it's on April 5th because the other dealer tried to **** me over. I'm leaning towards the bpv.
If anyone has a spare one that they could send me so I could try it just so I can narrow it down. Other than that I'm running out of patients.

Bump.... I'm gonna take the bpv apart myself this weekend. Any tips or tricks.
Also with the gm stage 1 kit, I'm only boosting 20 kpa in first gear. I that normal?
Can someone please help me. I took the bpv apart and the rubber thingy isn't ripped, not sure if the spring is ok or not, because I have nothing to compare it to.
Also. Would my upper charge pipe or intercooler cause the turbo bpv to flutter(surge)?? I'm debating on whether or not to put my stock intercooler and stock charge pipe back on...

Reduced boost in 1st is normal due to torque management, if the diaphragm isn't ripped then I believe all is well. Doubtful the spring went bad.
CP's & intercooler shouldn't cause surging.

Yeah it only does it when I let off the gas under 0 psi. Now the dealer said that they hooked up a vacuum pump to the bpv and when it had more vacuum, the issue was gone.
So maybe there is a vacuum line that's bad. Kinda makes me wonder if I bypass the solenoid, it if would be any better
What are you boosting. Psi wise

Well, today I'm gonna go buy some rubber hose and some vacuum caps and bypass the solenoid. If that doesn't work I'm gonna spray all the coupler and the intercooler with soapy water to see if I have leaks there. If that doesn't wok them I'll take off all the vacuum lines and replace them with new hose. If this doesn't work then I'm out of ideas.... Then I have literally tried everything besides swapping bpvs with someone.
Could there also be something wrong with the wastegate actuator? Orthe waste gate itself?
