Hey guys, just wanted to ask how much power do yall think could be made from this motor on 93 octane if it was built right, I ask because I'm trying to decide if i want to save up for the new cobalt or invest it my 5.0 mustang?

ahh, yeah go with the 5.0 is you wanna go fast

 

straight line speed, the cobalt will never keep up with a 5.0L mustang with equal mod money.

Do both. However, nothing wrong with the 5.0L (if you like Ford). It's a nice sounding engine with headers and corsa exhaust. **** loads of parts etc. I heard one take off at a local meet in the summer, gotta love the sound of V8's, and Corsa... lol

 

Say if I was to invest in the cobalt have much whp could this motor pull off with pump gas and internals?

 

There is no replacement for displacement

stick with the 5.0 and mod it, turbo it, supercharge it. Your gains will always be higher than a 2.0 litre turbo

 

you can make the mustang outhandle, and walk all over a cobalt for less than 10k into everything.

stick to the mustang.
