Well glad to hear everyone got theirs too. Get em fixed so as the parts come available. When I had both my ss/sc and ss/tc the electric steering was horrible. Now I have to deal with it on my new Malibu. Hopefully they fix these too.

Haven't received my letter yet, won't be the first or last Cobalt I had power steering go out like my SS/SC. Better then Toyota's recall and maximum penalty. Call it TOLYOTA! Watch out for those Tundras coming behind you like a missile in your rearview mirror.

Not everyones car is going to have the recall. My car doesnt have the recall on it. All the recall is, is there is a bolt that can back out and lock up the motor. The new motor just has locktite on it and thats it.

I heard the issue with the steering only occurs when you are going less than 15mph, which you shouldn't be doing in the first place.

I didn't get a letter yet though. Anybody in Canada get one yet?

You lose power steering, so basically what the letters saying is that under 15 miles per hour it might be harder to steer.

Maybe the frame will turn to dust when it hits you like the old Toyota trucks.
