Pressure Test Charge Pipe Leak

Hi guys,
Just did pressure test after installing ZZP intercooler in 2010 Cobalt SS. All good except leakage bubbles where the factory upper charge pipe meets the lower hose.
Is this common in this spot on these cars ?
Is there anything I can do to correct the problem other than use it as an excuse to buy a new aftermarket unit ??
Thanks

The stock upper charge pipe is 1 piece. When u say "lower hose" you mean the lower part of the charge pipe that connects to the intercooler on the driver side??

Get aftermarket pipes and save urself future head aches. And an aftermarket intercooler. But to solve this issue, tighten the tbolt clamp more unless it's not at a clamp, then it's probably cracked and definitely buy new pipes

Right where the plastic part of the charge pipe meets the rubber hose that goes to the intercooler.
Thanks

Yep, already have the ZZP intercooler on it and plan on getting the upper charge pipe. Just wondered if this was common and if there was anything that can be done with it for the time being.
Thanks.

I'm confused. You have an aluminum lower charge pipe that has a silicone coupler that goes between the hard pipe and intercooler and that's where it's leaking? The hose you are talking about is the silicone coupler? Does it have a t bolt clamp verses the weaker worn type clamp?

What kind of pressure are you testing with?

No, it's on the factory Upper charge pipe. This upper charge pipe is a molded plastic, right. It goes across the top of the engine and then down towards the intercooler. The leak is where it joins to the factory rubber (or silicone ?) coupler, which runs in between the plastic section and the intercooler.
Thanks

Well 26psi is more than you'll ever actually see in the real world. If you're tuned it'll be around 21 and stock is 15,16 ish after learn down.

It's probably cracked. The whole upper pipe is one piece so for it to leak I would suppose it would have to be cracking.

Ok, so you have a factory upper and lower plastic charge pipe and it's not the upper part of the pipe like you originally said, it's the lower. Could have a bad seal there. And like what's been said- you should be around 15-16psi on boost unless tuned.
