Psykotuned LNF *Updated*
I just got done tuning 2 SS/TC Cobalts today. It was fun, and super easy.
As soon as you hit the gas the boost jumps to 24psi, and then settles down to 22psi and holds all the way to redline. This is ridiculous! The dyno was closed today, but I am taking a Saturn Sky Redline to the dyno on Saturday for some before and after results.
Expected power levels are 310hp at the crank and around 340tq. It's unbelievable how smooth the powerband is, and the speed is incredible. I don't think the LSJ stands a chance.
IAT2 temps were max of 135* at top of third gear and that's from a dead start. Ambient temps were 115*. That let's you know this intercooler is seriously capable.
Injector duty cycle maxed at 35% thanks to the efficiency of direct injection. And this car is ready for more power. I don't see the charge piping being an issue as long as all the hoses stay connected.
Car sounds stock, and remains quiet. Only the driver and the guy who you are beating will know it's fast as hell.

Cool, I'm sending AREA47 my tunes.
I used HPtuners. It allows me to custom tune any thing I want. I highly recommend against using it if you are new to tuning.
They said I need to be a supporting vendor. I said quit breaking my *****. I didn't drop a price, or a link so what now? I asked how much to become a supporting vendor if that's going to be the case. No response yet.

Looking forward to the numbers... I figured from the start that tuned LNFs would be too much for 90% of the LSJs out there. Too good of a factory setup to compare it to the old ones.
The IDC... You can't get up to the 100% figures of the old ones if you wanted to, you would lose it out of the chamber. Max before straight fuel dumping would be about 70% from what I would figure. Am I mistaken there? Just a thought I had.

And the mods are getting out of hand with the "gotta be a vendor" ****. Sucks that this site is going downhill like that.

expect around 275RWHP and 290 to 305 RWTQ if it's close to sea level.. and dont ask me how i know this.. atleast on a SKYRL that's only been retuned for 23 psi expect that.. other than that COMPLETELY STOCK SKYRL to be exact..

So I have a question. You know how Hahn had problems with the PPC-tuned cars slowly lowering power over time as the ECU learned or whatever it does.......how did you overcome that?

Am am yet to see the need for boltons except a catless downpipe, and airfilter. What else is needed? Not even meth injection IMHO. And why buy a bigger turbo? Stock computer only lets you boost to 22.5 psi.

Personally, if you want a car faster than this LNF......better buy a Vette.
Well for 30 second flash to pick up tha ridiculous amount of power..........whoa man.

Well you could cut the voltage in half then retune the entire car. Assuming the sensor would work that way. I doubt it would though.

Yeah, but you know as well as I do that it doesn't work like that

Thanks Steve for the tune, no problems or CEL yet hopefully none to report. Talked to Gabe from the shop and am working out a deal for that NO2 ring for the intercooler. How did the other car turn out?
