Hey, I have a question on a possible exhaust setup.

Ok so now i have a CIA 3" catted dp and i was going to get the CIA 3" stainless catback with the resonator delete, but my question is how loud would it be. I dont want it to be too loud. Am i better off getting it with the resonator?

thats weak sauce. Can you please answer the question on here instead of a PM. more of us would like to know. I actually disconnected my hahn exhaust after the resonator to see what a muffler delete would sound like and it was too loud for my style. Hopefully a resonator delete would be a little quieter than a muffler delete but still louder than the setup i have now. I currently have a catless downpipe and 3' exhaust btw

 

if i decide to get it, i will probably get the resonator as well. Alot cheaper to get it with a resonator now then it will be to get it with out then have to get on put in

 

keep the resonator it doesnt hurt you performance wise and will keep it quieter and deeper sounding

 

i got the cia catted dp with just muffler delete sounds awesum and pretty loud haha, just ordered the cia cat back without res and with muffler so im stoked

 

let me know if it's louder of quieter than the muffler delete

 

well with just the dp and muffler delete now its loud, with no res and muffler i think it might be around same but better idk yet

 

I've got a catless dp with stock catback minus the resonator it sounds perfect to me. Not super loud at normal driving but at WOT it gets pretty loud.

i think im going to order this with the resonator. I have another question tho. Im lowered on sportlines so will this 3" exhaust be hitting on the axle beam.....If so is there a fix for this?

 

The Hahn one does, and the only fix I found was having my exhaust shop modify it (they extended it on both sides of the axle about an inch and installed a new hanger)
