where can I get good parts for retro fit hids, and do u guys usually do it in stock housing or aftermarket and just change the projectors out?

If lenses are decent I re use the lights. If not buy some new lights.

 

i agree with the retrofit source, ordered from them multiple times and there great. definatly use stock headlights, dont buy gen 4 or whatever and try to swap the projector out.

retros in stock housings look waaaaaaaay better then any of the gen headlights. get the mini d2s or h1 for easy install. dont forget shroud centering rings if you get 3 inch shrouds and 2.5 inch projectors.

 

Get the mini h1's if you want minimal modification to the headlight housing. Use the retrofit source for parts. Also buy a new spare set of headlights, it will give you more time to finish the retrofit

 

here's an excellent how-to i followed to the t. i used the black housing ebay headlights (stock design) to save on cost. theretrofitsource is great
