RPD Question

does anyone have any detailed books/websites or anything on this thing, I got the basics of it down, just would like to know if there is anyway to show boost/vac and such on the boost gauge.. and if there are any other options or settings for it..

To my knowledge there is not a way to have it show vac/boost even though the demo screen that shows kpa also shows vac

I know, in anycase, I wish there was some kind of advanced menu, or even like a theme or something that could be uploaded to this thing... gm should have made it usb compatible, and detachable ... and stuff...
oh well!

I'm in the process of looking into programming that thing to allow for things like that. I really wish I had vacuum, custom pages, and more viewable items.

I'm also trying to fire Vince at Trifecta up for maybe making a few toys for it for us that may allow for increased functionality. He's a programmer himself, so I bet it'd be a piece of cake for him.

That would be pretty sweet, I would like to see what vince could do for the RPD... I mean it is a sweet peiece of kit as it is, with a few tweaks it could be amazing!

There are some things that I'd like it to show/do, so I've thought about getting an Aeroforce gauge for the pillar, but nobody makes an RPD compatible gauge pillar yet.

Has anybody seen inside of these or know exactly what the wiring harness is like? The first step is to figure out how much of what runs it is in the unit itself vs somewhere else.

I would love if Trifecta could make some custom programming for the RPD. I'd like an actualy numbered reading of HP, and be able to have the HP/TQ in the side bar so I can also watch the boost.
