RPD reading "Data not available"
So as the thread reads...my boost gauge on my RPD is reading "data not available"...I have a CEL and my car occasionally misfires under light boost only... I just cleaned my filter and MAF as well as unhooking my battery...I can't check the CEL until Saturday though...
solutions anyone?
solutions anyone?
Mine did that too when I was Trifecta tuned. Its because your holding 24+psi for more than a couple seconds. It should clear on its own after a min or two. If it wont, scan the car for a pending code

The MAP sensor on the intake mani is notorious for going bad on the LNF. Blowby gets in there and renders the reading element null. Try replacing that first. Your symptoms are usually caused by a bad MAP.

I used MAF cleaneron my MAF and cleaned my Filter...the code was I think P107? Which is something to do with the MAP sensor I believe...I just ordered one so we'll go from there...
This happened to me when my IC blew, covered under warranty. Apparently some sort of sensor died... they attributed the blown IC to it...
WHO KNOWS THOUGH! the balt breaks often.. teheh

It's the map sensor out of range, it's not able to read over 22.5ish PSI for more than 3 secs. If you have Vince disable the code it will still blank out for a few secs then come right back to normal instead of turning the car on and off again. It probably happened during a 3rd gear pull (1st and 2nd are to short to trip the code).

Well the lack of display isn't the main problem, I'm still getting misfires occasionally on the top of 3rd gear when I let off after I'm under throttle and don't shift right away...I ordered the MAP sensor and we'll see if that helps...

So I ordered a new MAP sensor, the listing was wrong and the bastard doesn't fit....can someone help me out here...I don't know where to locate one...lol
If it's the "MAP" sensor on top of the manifold then the part# is 12592016, the lower sensor on the cold side pipe is 12592017. If the upper map sensor (12592016) is on it's way out then the car will throw a PO107 code.
P0107 is a dead map sensor. P0106 (map performance) happens when you go past 23 psi on the stock map sensors.
