ruined my lnf tranny
I think I ruined my Tranny, I was at the drag strip and got a little wheel hop. After that pass I popped my hood to see Tranny fluid pouring out of the Tranny. It is not cracked anywhere, and is coming from where the bell housing mates to the engine. Took off my clutch inspection cover to see Tranny fluid all over my clutch and pressure plate! So it has to be the input shaft or something. I'll tell you what the dealer says. But on the other hand is my clutch disc ruined from the Tranny fluid?

yes. if you need a tranny call up schram auto. 500 for a non lsd new trans. Also you will need a clutch due to the oil getting onto the friction disc. So cal up ky clutch and you can get one for 320-400 shiped depending on the parts needs like t.b and ect
Oh yeahure issue is a cracked casing!! Internal

Yes, it does. It hurts the rest of us who have legitimate claims denied because asshats think warranty = amateur racing career sponsorship.
Or just learn to ******* drive the car?

hmmm, surely its always the driver.... esp since so many ppl have problems with wheel hop with THIS CAR. and surely its only the driver, esp when looking for after market mounts it has in the description,"will reduce the COMMON problem known as wheel hop"

There's a bulletin about the cracked casing. It basically tells the tech to check things like rubber in the fender wells and other signs of abuse, then to deny coverage, so good luck with that.

wtf, if you stab it off the line on the street, whats the difference in that then at the strip. If GMs tranny blew on a high performance car under high performance conditions it should be replaced.

it says flat out says its a sign of abuse and not covered. I say go for it. nothing wrong with trying to get it covered

So the guys that drive SRT-4s and GTIs complaining about wheel hop are just faking it? Same must be for every person that drives a car with a live rear axle.
