its known for putting reliability above spool times. IE its durable, but not the greatest performer, not to say its a bad performer though.

It's old school. There are turbos out there that make more power on pump gas and spool as fast for the same money.

^ Agree, the s20g is kinda old school, Bullseye Turbo's are making good power and are very reliable so I would look into those before the s20g

The Hahn 20G uses a manifold adapter piece that I just don't like. The spool is pretty good in BBG's car tho, so that was no issue!

If you want 20g like performance i would go with the FP 68HTA from dejon, the super20g uses a rather large 10cm housing which kills spoolup.

yes i would strongly advise the FP 68HTA also. If you are unfamiliar with the turbo then you can check out subaru forums. They are very popular with that crowd. I am getting the turbo ass soon as the tax return comes in

You get a lot more than just a turbo for $1800.

It includes a ported and rotated turbo fitted with a Garrett high boost wastegate actuator, water lines, oil lines, Oxygen Sensor Housing, Manifold Adapter & gasket, and Compressor Outlet Elbow.
This will allow you to bolt up your stock/aftermarket downpipe, not sure about the ic piping.
