Sema 2008
There is NO reason you should be worried about the clutch in the SS/TC's.. I had an 07 SS/SC that I bought with GM Stg2 then further modded her with a 2.79 pulley, Vibrant 3" Cat-back, Injen CAI, NGK's, Eibach Springs, Dyno Tune, and a couple other things, and I put OVER 30K miles in right about a years time with the factory clutch...AND, the SS/TC's clutches are a MUCH better design.
a few people that have tuned the SS/TC have noticed clutch slip, including myself

I talked to a GM rep at SEMA.
Release date 1st quarter of 2009.
Reason is that they want to release 07,08, & 09 all at one time.
All that they're waiting for is the CARB paperwork for the 2009.
Everything is done, & ready to go.
Only a Stage 1 kit for the TC cars. No Stage 2 or 3 ,will ever happen.
They will 'lock' the program the best that they can do, as they don't want
anyone changing anything in the program.
The rep that I talked to didn't know if the 'program' raises the 255kpa limit.

Major disappointments from SEMA..........
GM not only does not have ANYTHING for their supposed stage kits here at SEMA, but none of their representatives know ANYTHING about it, and I don't get the impression that they are playing dumb, they either are dumb or there is a longer wait ahead of those who want the OS and sensors.
I see NO cobalts whatsoever here at SEMA, Only ECOTEC support I see is a Malibu...whoopity doo!

GM Performance part rep told me this morning that you can't increase the power on the LNF above stock even if you tune it......LOL, I literally walked away from him at that point didn't even end the conversation. I may as well ask the slutty models walking around what's coming out from GM if that's how helpful the reps are.
