Short Throw Shifter

What short throw shifter do you guys recommend? I would like to keep the reverse lock out, and if possible, the stock shift knob.

the hurst keeps a reverse lock but youll probably tear the stock knob in installation. just make sure that you remember where you hooked up the shifter cables for the reverse lock or it wont work properly. if you go with hurst

I'm hoping the TWM does. Not really happy w/ the stock manual feel after a 2k miles on it, hoping that replacing the bushings and adding a weighted shift knob it have a similar feel that my audi's did

I have the twm, won't ever go back to the stock ever again. I have the upgraded bushings and heavy knob and it is now solid and so much smoother shifting. The throw reduction wasn't as great as I had hoped for, but everything else about it blew me away. 100% worth it. Install was easy too, but you won't be able to reuse the stock knob becuase it doesn't thread on, it is held in place from splines on the stocker.

I was wondering about a STS as well. I would actually want to keep the reverse lock and the stock shifter if possible. How hard is the install, considering I've never done a shift change, except on my old tracker back in the day.
