Solution to misfires
Solution to misfires
How do you stop you're car from misfiring on start up when you're tuned. I'm tired of my cel coming on all the time. What do i need? colder plugs new o2 sensor. I searched could not find a answer.
It's probably the Superchips tune causing it since you have the Hahn intake skewing your fuel trims.
They shift around 8-12% depending on the other mods and without a good tuner correcting your fuel trims for the intake misfires will be likely.
You could check the plugs as well if more than 15k miles on them. You might be due.
Hard to diagnose over the internetz.

i get that quite a bit to. i dont even have my tune on. new plugs, new o2 sensor, i get misfire in cylinder 3,4, multiple cylinder missfire. only throws code once in a while, but dashdaq picks it up even if it doesnt throw a code. iv had that for a long time, car runs fine otherwise, just that code on startup about every 5 starts or so. dont know what the deal is. maybe my o2 sensor is being gay. its alot less since i changed it. maybe i should get it checked out. i might just call the dealer and have them take a look.
ya i get code 300 all the time so here is what i found on that
If you find a P300 code, it means the misfire is random and is moving around from cylinder to cylinder. The cause here would likely be something that upsets the engine's air/fuel mixture, such as a major vacuum leak, leaky EGR valve or unusually low fuel pressure (weak pump or faulty pressure regulator).
im guessing my hahn intake, or iv noticed my frp used to be 350-450psi at idle now its from 200-350, could dieing fuel pump be my problem?? we shall keep an eye on it.

Try putting your stock intake back on and see if the problem persists. If not...problem solved...and you'll probably go faster TBH. Unless you're going to specifically tune for an aftermarket intake...don't even bother.
i guess that what sucks about the select a tune, my tune is tuned for it, but when its off, i still got the problem, wonder how i could mod the intake to take away the problem.
