ok so this is the problem right now...
my car its idling like ****! everytime i stop my idle goes from 895RPM to 4**RPM then comes back up and down again and then up an it sedels there for a minute and then it does it again... not only that i just got a check engine light which im going to read it today to see what it is... also the engine is make this weird noise when i press on the gas slowly... its like a "clack clack clack clack" but i dont know if its from my exhaust or what not that i cant hear it over 3000 RPMs... any help?!?!
the sound is not that loud but i can still hear it...

 

I used to get that on my old car... and the problem was two things. 1#. the throttle positioning sensor (TPS) and 2#. the MAF sensor was either dirty or needed to be replaced.

maybe you have oil on your hot side MAF sensor.... hmmmm..

 

i got this two codes in:
P0447
P0302

 

P0302 is a misfire cylinder 2 code. The other code is an Evap emisions code.
