"SR" intake from Clear Image Auto (Teaser)

We are happy to finally be done with the testing of our intake kits. We installed our Short Ram Intake (SRI) protorypw on Friday. Customer has been driving with no issues, codes, engine lights, etc. He is a GM Tech and checked proper function.

Here are some pictures of the prototype kit. The production kit will NOT have any welds. We had the factory MAF flange and breather valve fitting duplicated exactly. The breather fits absolutey perfect. In fact, it fits our fitting better than the factory fitting. It "locks" in-place just like it should. Customers will be happy yo know they do NOT have to "fix" problems with the breather fitting by using duct tape, electrical tape, JB Weld, etc.

This took us a long time to release but we solved the known problem with the breather fitting other companies chose to ignore.

Enjoy the photos and look for an official "sale" in the vendors area.

Thanks again everyone for all of your incredible patience and support.

How does it work/what does it do? Better heat dissipation?

Not heat dissipation, rather heat insulation. It will shield the intake air from engine heat.

I'd like to hear from some people that got the SRI about what they think of it.
