SS/SC tranny mounts on T/C
IMO that is a lateral move, the only forward move would be rotated mounts.
The stock ss/tc mounts are not that bad at all....I whipped my buddies car from a dead stop around a corner and lit them up through 1st and 2nd and didn't hop at all.
All that polys are gonna do is shake the **** outta your car.

could you explain? i don't get it, thanks.
and if the SS/SC has the same mount(not bushing) as the T/C, isn't it still a same upgrade if i get the SS/SC mount with poly bushing insert?

That kit is the GM upgrade for the ss/sc. The mounts that you are upgrading if you have an ss/sc, are the stock mounts in the ss/tc, you know, the same ones that GM designed to eliminate wheel hop.
"This kit is specially designed to eliminate wheel hop on your 2005--2007 Cobalt SS/SC or ION Redline so that you can get all of your power to the ground."
Sooooo, you want to get poly mounts, that are also, designed to eliminate wheel hop and get all your power to the ground, but your stock mounts already do as good as a job as poly mounts will, without the shaking that will come with polys.
As I said and will say for the last time, about the only upgrade worth it is rotated mounts, as the stock mounts aren't rotated IIRC.
Hey don't listen to me though, go ahead and waste money.
okay, thanks 05slowline. i guess i will just get the motor mount in the future, since you have no hops with rotated mount but stock motor mount. guess i could do the opposite like stock T/C mount with TTR motor mount. your opinion?
There's no pissing match you are simply wrong. I'm sorry you were mislead into believing otherwise.
nope... wouldn't know a thing
Uh, if you say so. Lmfao.
A poly insert in a stock mount will not do the same thing as a rotated mount you fucknut.
You should just stop while you're ahead you look dumber by the post.
I guess that you are more intelligent and more informed than John Powell and GM though, right? HAHA.

oh boy here we going with the name calling...
Yes the rotated mounts are supposed to align the axles better and all these grand things. Unfortunately I haven't seen a damn difference between the 2, especially if his car is completely stock. (sorry OP, I don't know if it's stock or not I'm just using that as an example).. $50 for a cost effective upgrade over the stock mount, as compared to almost $300 for an upgrade that does little more than look pretty in comparison is hardly worth it.
Just because I don't completely agree with you is no reason to start resorting to highschool name calling antics.
