I currently have a 2008 ss/tc, i am running a stock down pipe with muffler delete i have HAHN intake, and dejon bov spring, Want to do a cat less down pipe but am very scared that its gonna sound like ****. Does anyone have this done, vids, or sound clips would be appreciated. Recommendations/Suggestions welcome.

OR if you are unsure you can get the Hahn "MOD Pipe" and get the "cat less/straight pipe version"

If you dont like it you can then just buy the cat later, and you can swap them out as you like...

The non catted DP by Hahn does not throw codes either

YES! Myself along with two of my very good friends have ss/tc's (i know its cute/i had mine first) i did the cai and spring, my one friend just did the cai, the sound is soooooooooo different the spring makes the bo soo crisp, where with the stock spring kinda has a funky sound to me both sound good but i like mine better! Actually sounds like a aftermarket bov. OOO and other friend is still stock. lol

Someone said it sounds like an srt4 which i dont think is too bad of a sound i just dont like the rasp sound in high rpms

Since its a daily driver im only putting intake, muffler delete, intercooler piping, and tune, and considering a down pipe (Catless, NO inspections where i am)

How much of a sound difference is the catted vs cattless?

yeah ive posted a coupke of times but it doesnt bother me it seems that a peace of metal was left over during the construction of my intake and it broke loose and my turbo didnt like that much i found the peace of metal in the inner fins of my filter all chewed up aswell as the fins on my turbo....i didnt even try going to the dealer for it i didnt feel like getting thrown around or anything so im just gonna go with BTF Ko4+ upgrade its cheaper then getting a new turbo plus it has better flow

ill be able to put a vid up in a week or 2 when i get my new turbo

i had custom exhaust work on mine i used the stock resonator and cut the end off a little then welded 3in to it. exhaust comes out in front of drive rear tire. it not sound bad at all.it real loud when i get on it. but that just my racing exhaust i going to have it go all the way out the back too. make it with some v clamps so i can change it out in like ten mins.

OoO sorry im still close to stock but yes the bov spring upgrade for only 10 dollars, there is much better quality it is a lot stiffer and when i get some more mods and get tuned it will hold boost better, THE MAIN REASON I DID IT WAS BECAUSE I BOUGHT THE COLD AIR INTAKE AND ITS RIGHT THERE NEXT TO IT I KNEW IT WAS A MOD I WAS GOING TO DO SO INSTEAD OF INSTALLING THE INTAKE AND HAVING TO GO BACK AND REMOVE IT TO INSTALL THE SPRING I DID IT ALL AT ONCE.
