Had both. SCT is nice and the car runs strong ( a little touchy). Trifecta is custom with killer support and fine tuning performed by Vince. The Trifecta is a great tune and alot more torque, plus the whole switchable thing is very nice!

I have the superchips now but i might switch to trifecta. The tune is awesome but some days i just feel it could handle a lot more.

Yeah, on the Trifecta tunes now you can activate the tune with with a certain selection using the traction control button (like putting it into comp mode for instance) or turning on/off the cruise control arm button (the one with the amber light).

I've been really happy with my Superchips tune. In second gear the car wants to squeel the tires, so I'm right on the edge of having to get better tires. With the trivecta tune I would have to get better tires or feather the throttle to keep traction. I may get another tune later on, but for now I'm very happy with SCT.

Yep same here .....tires want to break loose in 2nd . When it gets cooler at night the car lights the tires in 2nd from a roll NP.

When I had the superchips I did notice a good gain in power. The only bad thing I have to say about the superchips tune is it's tooo touchy. It tries to give a lot of boost even when you are just driving regular. From a normal 1st to 2nd shift it will give a lot of boost just into the 2nd gear making the car lunge forward like your trying to race.

Other than that, it was a pretty good tune.

The Superchips will keep your clutch happy with about 30lb ft less, trifecta does have pronouced topend advantage though. I have both, and the difference is NOTICIBLE

The Superchips tune was enough to put a smile on my face and certainly woke the car up quite a bit. I said the same thing you said with just wanting something mild...but then I woke up and realized I wanted more power. So if you truly are looking for something mild, then you picked the right poison...

whats nice about the sc is that you can flash your car back to stock in just a few min and if you gotta take it back to the dealer for service they cant even tell you had it installed. if you have any problems with your car and want waranty work and you have hp tuners or trifecta you better get another pcm they will void your waranty if they see any kind of tune. im not saying other tuning methods dont make more power because they do. but i dont wanna kill my car or my waranty yet anyway.

^youve got some homework to do....

theyd be able to see the SC tune, but not the Trifecta tune... doesnt matter cuz theyll void your warranty stock if you beat on the car...

i did my research and yea they will void your waranty if you beat the hell out of it. i did do research on the sc tune and talked to the sc rep about it they cant tell as long as you flash it back to stock. when you reflash your pcm back to stock it resets everything they can tell your driving history thats stored might be short because it erases it and they might think you have had a reflash but as long as you dont admit it they dont know. i had work done to my car and they didnt say anything.

I've seen stock TC's run 104. I watched a guy with a prototype shifter, HP tuners, and poly engine/trans mounts run 13.30's @ 107+ his first time on the track with a FWD. That was last fall.
