I have a beautiful black 2008 SS T/C and have hit the 10000 km (6200 mile) mark on the odometer and am embarking on making some improvements. So far, HID headlights, super tinted windows and removed/blacked out badging. Now for performance. With their G.M Gas Flashpack. . .part #2865; Superchips are claiming performance improvements similar to the "elusive" G.M. Stage 1 package of + 40 bhp and + 50 ft./lb, all for an advertized price of about $ 385. USD

Does anyone have any experience or feedback on this upgrade?

 

Stage 1 is nothing....and superchips are ****....go with stage 2 and you will be happy (Especially for keeping warranty).

this is an ss/tc there isnt even a stage 1 out yet, why would u say go with stage 2? tc, not sc

yeah stage 1 is due out in 90 days or so.....doubt a stage 2 or 3 will come out for the car but im going to hold off a bit just to see if that happens.

 

From what I found out today your stage 1 will be the same as the hhr and solstice and there will be a stage 2 for you guys which will be just an untake

 

With the cut backs at GM, including disolving their Performance Division, I'm not so confident that even the Stage 1 will ever be available. I was waiting patiently, but now is the time for action. The Superchip looks like a good option, just wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge. . .
