Superchips where are you?

Is it just me or by looking at the website has anyone noticed Superchips has dropped support of the HHR/Solstice/Sky/G5/Cobalt SS with the LNF. It isn't even available for purchase anymore. Is there something we should be aware of Ron? If it's not good enough to sell, that would leave me to believe there is a problem with the product, could someone enlighten me?

Probably because they are either out of the amount they manufactured so they canned it thinking not enough market exists to continue making them -OR- The canned tunes are really shitty and blow your engine ???

Just some ideas...

Sure, but for ones that are for sale but out of stock it just says "out of stock" these are gone, period, no longer on the website, even the updater doesn't work for me.

Car isn't being made anymore, so it makes sense that some of the aftermarket it going to die with it.

makes someone question if they are going to continue to do updates that's one of the reasons I never got Superchips. Didn't have enough confidence because the guy on the phone couldn't tell me if it increase the psi or what.

The superchips handhelds are so close to being really good . Don't get me wrong .... the superchips tune is a nice increase from stock .... it's just that it could have been so much better . I have a post over on SC's forum about dropping support so i will see what they have to say .

If you have GMS1 the superchips tune isn't worth doing . They are pretty close to the same thing from a performance stand point....they make the same power and produce comparable 1/4 mile times.

I would not think so because the whole operating system in the ECM is different.

yep different OS, no point. That said, ive kept the superchips for its 91 octane tune for roadtrips, the fuel economy is excellent. as far as the scanner goes. datalogging and quick CEL scanning of any GM car with OBDII are pretty nice.

Oh no argument about fuel economy, my tune vs SC tune on the track I get 7.7 on mine and 8.3 on SC tune. I am a little conservative on timing and run a HUGE safety net since I never have a real reason to run the engine above 6K.

Our support has not been changed.

We still support all of those models.
