Surge?!? Surge wont come from installing charge piping or an Intercooler.. What do you have for a BOV/BPV? are you tuned?

im trifecta tuned and have the stock bpv. i only noticed it after i installed everything on the car. i hear it constantly releasing pressure in that range also. and when it starts doing it the car starts bucking until i either get in the gas or back off of it

that problem is going to be vacuum line related, LNF's are notorious for being finicky if a vacuum line is out of place.

remember you need to bypass the vacuum tank under the intake manifold

so from what Im getting here, you have no bolt ons (other than TRE stuff). and just the Trifecta tuned. somethings up with the tune? Does it make decent power when its working?

What exactly do you have? stock BPV? DID you replace the lower charge pipe?

my car did some weird stuff after I installed the intercooler and all signs pointed to a major boost leak but it was the ECU trying to adjust for it. I just kept driving it around my neighborhood and it "learned" the new part but it sounded like a subi whenever it went into boost and wouldn't boost more than a pound out of vacuum. Oh and the check engine light flashed while it was misfiring.

Keep driving it around without turning it off or letting it die. Should take about a half mile to figure out whats going. My car idled perfectly and reving the engine was normal too when I had my problem. Good luck.

it pulls boost fine. Think im gonna do what treadstone said and bypass the vacume tank. its hard to drive 70 or above at part throttle because it just goes to surging like mad.. but wen it goes into boost pulls fine

i did a mod a long time ago that bypassed the vacuum tank like the pontiac has it to eliminate that "ball" the air would vent to. im going to see if I can a take picture of mine. maybe it'll help.

thanks. i was looking at it and if i jut run the vacume line from the intake that you tee into to the sensor it will bypass the tank. i was in a hurrry and when i realized it was good i stopped. i dorve 200 miles and no flutter or anything so hopefully its fixed

SO is it all good bro? sounds like a vac line issue for sure. Also if you are still running into issues check the stock BPV diaphragm it could be torn a little bit allowing a leak and some flutter.

My car has this issue with the flutter when in vacuum. Let me know what you figure out. Do you have the gms1 sensors?
