Hey i have been looking at pictures and peoples posts for about 2 days now for a question i have about Meth Injection. I know the most popular spot is the cold side about 4-6 inches after the Intercooler. But my question is can I tap and put the nozzle on the stock cold side piping? or do i have to upgrade to an aluminum piping? Thanks in advance!

 

You could try tapping the plastic but that may lead to problems later on,I wouldn't tap the rubber, The stock Charge pipes are a plastic with rubber grommets on the ends , Meth can eat plastic and rubber so I just wouldn't use it for a permanent reliable solution, I am sure you could get a cold side pipe for cheap from injen or look in the classifieds.

 

Some other people have even sprayed right into the TB.

 

Any links to where a cheap cold side might be??? And/or does anybody else have any thoughts to add to this?

 

ive been running methanol injection in my tc for 5 months now and i tapped into the stock cold side works fine for me just make sure its tight and if you want to be exra carful use some kind of silicone around the jet.

but i also dont plan on keeping the coldside much longer getting a bigger turbo here soon so when i do that i have to swap the coldside lol but for a temorary thing use your coldside

 

can you tap the cold side end tank of your intercooler?
