Thinking about ZZP Turbo Upgrade kit...
I hear this kit is reliable, but outside of that what else do I need to ensure it's reliable. Daily driving will be the goal, so 400 WHP will be nice for a DD.
So in addition to the turbo kit itself what else do I need to ensure reliability?
I'm assuming...
So I'm imagining a total cost of about $5000 in preparation. That's 2 years in savings maybe more.
I want the most stable system I could get. I don't want any stress on the components.
Thanks

I'm assuming...
- Wiseco Piston
- 78# Valve Springs
- Connecting Rods
- Motor Mounts
- Cryo Tranny
- ZZP Stage 4+ Clutch
- Spark Plugs

Building the bottom end isn't completely necessary unless you really want to beat on it and crank up the boost. The stock bottom end will be fine if you want to stay in the 400whp range.
Valve springs will be needed if you want to raise up the rev limiter, and a clutch is going to be needed for sure.
As long as you're smart with the car and have a good tune, you shouldn't have any reliability issues at all with that kit.

The most reliable thing you can do is not have a big horsepower car. Even if you build your motor up, its not going to gaurantee that your car will never have an issue. People modify their cars all the time and spend thousands into their car...and have problems constantly. The thing is this, when you buy a car from a manufacturer, its not some guy who just makes out parts and say I think its good. You have educated engineers, designers and testers who go through everything and then say "Ok this is reliable and we feel good giving it a warranty". When you modify your car, you're playing the engineer, the designer and the tester. All those parts are from different companies and those companies specialize in 1 part. Its that simple.
If this is your only vehicle, I would suggest staying away from going huge in power. If it isn't, then continue on your path but building your engine to that extreme may not be necessary. Also you're factory turbocharged, why not replace certain components to improve what you're doing? You don't need a turbo kit to gain some more power and be somewhat reliable.
Good luck with your decision.
