Does anyone know if the treadstone TR8 intercooler comes with all the stuff needed to install or do I have to buy separate parts for install? Thanks

lol $100 bucks more for some couplers and bolts, if I buy the intercooler by itself will it not bolt up to the stock charge pipes?

 

it will not. hence the 90* aluminum piping with the kit.

yea with the 90* piping they supply. Simply buying the intercooler will not work with OEM chargepiping

Well lookie there. 329 bucks for everything you need. Not to mention an amazing intercooler (i say that from experience)

 

I love my TR8, but wish I would have went with the TR10. If only they offered a trade in program haha

lol zzp is out of stock for who knows how long

 

Mpx is the same price as the tr8 and i believe it's the same size as the 10. It also bolts right up

 

+1 for the tr8. works very well and i prefer the way it looks on my car than the other i/c out there. no i didnt buy it for looks. lol.

 

I got the TR10 and it's for sale WITH the elbows. PM me if you're interested. I was gonna post it up in the classifieds today.

What's nice is that the tabs are already bent for you.

 

The problem with MPx is the ends are smaller in size or something like that. If the problem hasn't been fixed that is. Last I heard there was some issue with the size

 

Bought the tr8 kit today, hope it ships fast, been driving with a hole in the stock end tank intercooler lol

 

lol just bought the new one wished you said something earlier...
So am I gonna have to bend the tabs on the tr8 or is it just for the tr10 you have???

Just so you are aware when you install the tr8 your going to have to cut some of the underside of your bumper so that the intercooler sits right and so you can get the bumper on

 

What? No, you don't. Maybe if you're an idiot and can't figure out how the brackets work.

 

Never had to cut anything with my tr8. Very easy straight forward install I did in the dark with ease
