Track times

Here are some times from this passed Friday at San Antonio Raceway in my 08turbo

First run
2.67 60ft
9.59 1/8
78 MPH
14.38 1/4
105.41 MPH

Second run
2.56 60ft
9.26 1/8
82.93 MPH
13.90 1/4
106.33 MPH

Third and best of night
2.24 60Ft
8.98 1/8
81.12 MPH
13.62 1/4
105.63 MPH

Last of night
2.6 60ft
9.39 1/8
83.27 MPH
14.03 1/4
106.84 MPH

I Think once i get the launching down i can get the ET down. This was my first time at the track in a FWD car so i do have some learning to do. Mod are a air intake i built and a 2 1/2in charge pipe i also fab up. Also I would like to thank supermantxz24 for the HP tune. One other thing i forgot to mention is the car had 1/2 a tank of 93 octane when 2 gallons of 108 octane were added.

I had a 1.90 in my Stage2 SC 2 years ago in Seattle. Could NOT believe it. I normally pulled 1.99-2.12's. Then what did I do with that 1.9 60'?????? I missed 3rd gear bad and still pulled a 13.58 @ 101. I was SO pissed! would have easily been in the 13.4's at maybe 106/7. These TC seem to be pretty common 2.2. Practice will easily get 2.1 or less. With my mods I'm hoping to be sub 2.0 but I need to get to the track at all and get a few passes under my belt.

wow, yea a 1.9 is real good on street tires with a FWD car. My best 60ft. was a 1.4, but that was with my Syclone

If so I can't wait til he get's his 60' times down, he should be in the 13.2 range with ease, especially with his traps.

Well that may be true but the car responded fine plus the car had 1/2 a tank of pump gas and only 2 gallons of 108 were put in. So the octane may have been around 96 98.

Either way I think you should just keep running what you're tuned for, or run 93 if you're not tuned yet.

it is true, octane basically means resistance to ignition. Unless your knocking, which i doubt you are. You effectively make your car slower anything above 93 unless you have a "track" tune. Probably had a minimal effect on your overall ET but still, it is truth

So go buy one, or go become friends with someone who has one and drive it, LOL. I think the fastest stock one so far has gone 13.5, and I really cant see one getting into the 13.3-13.4 range stock.

Yeah that's true, but I think it would become very tough to cut a 13.3 or better in a stock SS/TC.

I dont think it will either. I think it would be sweet if someone slapped on some DR's and ran a 13.2-13.3 in a stock SS/TC.
