I just ordered this pipe. I'll let you know when I get it I didn't even know there was a connection for the boost solenoid. I ordered the direct stock replacement, not the MAF relocate one.

treadstone had told me they can tap a vaccum fitting if you want one, other than that they just want you to relocate that line.

Calling definitely works better. It's like reverse for ZZP.

My Treadstone lower ic pipe didn't have a vac line going to it. i didn't think any (including stock) of the lower ic pipes had a line go to it.

btw, Treadstones customer service is actually top notch...but you need to call them. its wayyyyy quicker. emails usually take a few days but calls are instant. they will do anything to make sure you are satisfied.

Yeah, the stock cold side I/C pipe does have a vac fitting. I looked at mine this morning. It's just to the left of the MAP sensor.

But why should you have to on a brand new piece? Is the Treadstone intercooler customer for the Cobalt or is it a generic one we are using?

How ridiculous that they don't supply you with a vac port. That's just useless! Way to go, Treadstone.

ya i dont wanna risk wrecking the paint job or screwing it up and it just being a paper weight because something that should be there isnt. im gonna tell them to add one if i decide to buy one, wish they would just add it seeing it should be there

Well for people that don't need one its not an issue. Besides its not that hard to just relocate it anyways....

Top line coming out of the solenoid is supposed to go to the lower CP... You need to connect it to a boost pressurized area, like the manifold there... the line from the intake manifold goes to the vacuum tank so you just splice it in there and your done.
