Trifecta and "Learn Down"

So I am thinking of getting the tune but have a concern. Does anyone know if that learn down feature on the TC will deteriorate the tune in any way once the computer compensates for the added power? Would it get slower with time?

Thanks man! From what I have read it sounds like any mods added after the tune will still not make much of a difference if at all until re-tuned. Correct?

They will add a little bit if you are tuned already, but not as much as they could

The learn down is only turned off with the gmpp tune for the solstice/sky/hhr, trifecta or any other tuner can't turn it off. What these tuners simply do is increase the base hp, and you'll stay at that new higher hp level all the time. If you install some new mod that will increase the efficiency of the engine you won't get any gains.

So with trifecta tune would u get more of a power gain if u did the mods before the tune. Also, if u get the trifecta tune do u have to disable ur onstar, will it start sending u messages telling u something is wrong. Imagine if it senses the change and shoots gm an email also

Yes its best to get the tune made for all your mods, rather than getting your mods after the tune.
