Trifecta tune dyno results
I definitely agree that power readings are noticably lower on a mustang, however those do seem a click on the low side. Either way, the power curve is definitely healthy looking..

idk man, I have the same mods you have except I have a K&N SRI instead of a hahn, and vince says the tune looks great, he seemed impressed with the gains. I'd say it's probably the south florida weather.
I'm sure it still pulls like a bat out of hell man! Gotta love those heart breakers! Although it will be great when you smoke someone putting down bigger numbers than you, and you can just shrug your shoulders and say.. IDK man, my car only makes 270whp. You must just suck at driving..

yeah that too, lol. It's known for being one of the lowest reading dynos around. I'm gonna take it down to ft lauderdale where another member on here made like 350whp and 390wtq with the same mods. LOL
When we gonna race

i'm guessing those are your stock numbers right below it ? if so .. then thats a 56 wtrq and 39 whp gain.. which is impressive..
the fact that your dynoing 10 whp and about 15 wtrq lower then most people do stock shows you're still putting down great numbers man.. dont be upset by the numbers.. look at the actual gains ..

If that's the stock run he seems to be showing (Dashed blue line), then he appears to around 15 HP less than stock (245 vs 230 here). That's about 6% less than a dynojet.
Torque was 220 vs 245 stock or 8% less. Splitting the difference you have around 7% less than one would expect from a dynojet, not 12%. Mustangs are *hearbreakers* for sure..but not *heart attackers*
Here I found this on a car tested both ways:
Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum - View Single Post - Dyno Correction Factors: Mustang vs DynoJet
When I had my car on the dyno in Feb there was a M5 that got 343 at the wheels on a dynojet but on aa Mustang it comes up as 318hp. There is a difference.
YEP..7%

Yeah, I know that this particular dyno has been known to read between 8 and 12% low. So call it 10% if you want to average it. I was mostly posting it up to show the gains stock vs trifecta. I'll be hitting the track soon and we will see then.
Nice.
Here's an online calculator:
Horsepower Design Equation Formula Calculator - Engine Horsepower Trap Speed Method
If we assume your car was 3200LBS with driver and 113 MPH, we get 360 FLYWHEEL HP. That's about 316 WHP if we use a 12% drive train loss.
Here we go..if your 297 was a MUSTANG #, then that's 6% less than calculated 316 WHP (like dynojet). Pretty close to the 7% factor I've stated here. I know 10-12% less has been thrown around for Mustang Dyno but I really think it's closer to 7%.
I am going to say that it's not a heart breaker and that's the number you will put down on a dynojet as well. Was the dotted lines a stock pull? If so you out down 230 stock which is right in the norm ballpark.
