Trifecta Tune On its Way!

Just talked to Vince, and ordered a Trifecta tune with cable. Pumped as hell!! Vince was incredibly quick to respond to my email and very, very helpful.

My next addition will be a cold-air intake - probably a K&N, but we'll see.

Oh, man, I can't wait!

so bcus u bought the cable? does that mean u have the ability to switch tunes whenever u feel like it? basically like switch between the trifecta tune and the stock tune if u need to go to the dealership?

i dunno if that made any sense. but i hope u understand what im talking about lol

If I'm not mistaken you can pay an additional fee to keep the cable. Otherwise you have to send it back after loading the tune, and having Vince run a quick scan to make sure everything is in working order. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable could chime in though.

so if u do infact keep the cable can u switch tunes at your own discretion? so you could change between lets say a summer/winter/stock tune whenever you feel like it. obviously u would have to pay for the summer and winter tunes and the cable but after that itd be free to change your tune for the season or if your going to the dealership?

You could contact Vince and ask rather then rely on the here say of others. If you're so concerned with having the customization I say get a spare ECU and HP Tuners though. costs more up front, but it's worth it in the long wrong.

Yes, if you keep the different tunes downloaded to your laptop then you could upload whatever tune you wanted at the time. If you buy the cable you can send datalogs every so often for him to make sure everything is looking good. Plus he will revise you tune for free whenever you want more boost or less boost ect...

Me too brotha, I just ordered mine today, I'm excited too. Hopefully I don't run into any problems with my 64bit windows 7 laptop.

What did you get, select a tune, hide a tune, infiniboost?

Nice, enjoy it

Just don't get a tune over 24psi or you will be stressing the ringlands and putting the turbo past it's efficiency range.

I went with the hide a tune. I will be using my traction control button to enable/disable the tune. I drive 400 miles a week (mostly highway), so I don't always need the power, but it'll be there when I do!

I went with the cruise control i like it alot. when cruise is off the tune is on and when cruise is on tune is off. Its alot easier than trying to swap traction control. Plus your not supposed to change the traction control modes if your spinning. It does take a sec for the tune to engage after you hit the button but its noticeable at part throttle the car runs so much better.

love the tune, and I kept the cable for data logging /future mods. and yes k/n intake is the way to go, just put the filter on right so it does not mess up fuel trims.

p.s. you will make your tires go bald quickly so have a plan to get wider rims and tires .

Just got the cable and the email from Vince. The tune gets installed tonight. I can't wait to watch the numbers climb on my RPD.
