Trifecta FTW!!!!!! Wow! The car is a different beast. RPD is bottoming-out at 325HP and I'm pushing over 22psi of boost. F-ing snow in Ohio is making it hard to go play, but from the little bit I have, I'm loving it.

The install of the tune couldn't have been simpler or easier. Thank you, Vince, you are the MAN!!

When I get the K&N, I'll report back. Waiting for the snow to go away 1st.

I'd take a pic of the RPD if I wasn't going so fast, but yes, AT LEAST 325 from the tune alone.

I, too, was a bit skeptical, but I then disabled the tune, and did another 3rd gear pull, and the RPD read about 255/260. At the very least, I know the RPD is reading fairly close to correctly. Vince has dyno numbers showing he's getting an additional 90HP/90ft lbs with the tune alone. With the way my car is pulling now, I believe him.

Did you datalog? How long does it take him to get back to you with a new tune?

Trifecta is open on saturdays from 12-3 eastern time.

Vince gets back to you pretty quickly if you tell him you are doing a log at a certain time. He will make it a point to be there waiting for you.

The EZFlash software will work fine with windows 7 64bit.

If you have a cable, you can can upload any Trifecta tune you want to whichever car it was licensed for. You can also datalog any car that has been tuned by Trifecta. The EZFlash software is also an OBDII Diagnostic scanner, so you can scan any OBDII car and clear DTCs.

Not sure how much you paid, but I sell the cables and tunes cheaper than trifecta and you still tune through Vince. PM if interested.

Vince moves pretty quick with getting back to datalogging and everything if you catch him at the right time you usually can have everything done within a matter of an hour......the longest i have ever had to wait was one day

Okay because I'm still waiting on mine and I sent it in at this time yesterday. I was just curious.

Ricecop, I am borrowing this cable, but i was planning on keeping it, but if your cable is cheaper I may do that, how much cheaper are we talking?

Yeah it usually takes the longest when you are getting your first files, but datalogging and getting adjustments takes a shorter amount of time, hopefully you make good numbers

Yeah, this is my first datalog, and I sent him 2 datalogs. I didn't know what I was doing so I drove around for like 15 minutes while it was recording and did a couple of random WOT but no redlines. Then he emailed me and said 2nd gear to redline/WOT should be good. So I sent him that too. I'm hoping for some good numbers too. I switched from ZZP's canned tune. There's already a huge improvement. With my ZZP canned tune, I'd lose boost at higher rpms, I'd go from 25psi spike to 16 psi near 5k rpms. Now with Trifecta, I stay 23 through out the entire gear

yeah just find a highway on ramp or something and hit start logging and do a second gear pull, maybe some of 3rd if you want, and hit stop... send him the file.

Also it will only record like 12000 frames... so like 1 minute of recording time... maybe less.

Well, I got Vince's tune tweaks and man, I can feel the difference. It pulls harder now than it ever has. It's noticeably more powerful. It's more powerful than my ZZP Canned. I love it! I sent him more datalogs, hopefully I can be completely dialed in this time.

I'm a Trifecta believer for sure now!

I'll try for a combo tune eventually!

Any dyno results yet? How about track times??

Really happy for you man. I'm looking into a local shop starting to deal with the Cobalts.. Will see what they are able to do. They specialize in DSM and Hondas. All motor hondas with a head swap and weight reduction running 12's or high 11's. They are sick in their tuning abilities. Looking forward to something other then my stage I.

LOVE the K&N. It's exactly the sound I wanted from the turbo. Now, if I can just get these damn snow tires off, I can try WOT in 2nd gear. :-)

It's in increments of 25 mph and there's 1 notch left after the 300 HP mark. So, it should be 325.
