Troubles with Intakes

Considering all the troubles people are having with MAF readings on aftermarket intakes, is there an intake out for our the TC that isnt popping codes, or causing the car to run rich, or like ****?

Most of the issues with the intakes are from the breather hose leaking on the fitting the aftermarket intake uses. I had a Dejon SRI on for a few weeks, no codes & ran ok but I wasn't pleased with the lack of mounting bracket or the fact that the breather had no retainer on the fitting. I had wrapped it with silicone tape to seal it & keep it from popping off. I'm holding out for the Clear Image Automotive SRI in a few months as they are using a fitting copied from the stock one. Their cold air intake is for sale now.

If you have any leaks it throws the MAF readings off and plays hell with the mixture.

i boughtmy Dejon SRI from a member on here and he put a piece of black hose on the breather with a little black nipple piece that works pretty damn good.

I just installed an Injen SP intake on my SS/SC and they are designed not to throw codes. They're are specially tuned to give great increases in hp and performance while still keeping a safe air/fuel mixture so it won't throw codes.
Installed mine 3 days ago and no problems yet. Disconnect the battery first and then install.
