Anyone running the Turbo XS cat-back? If so, how do you like it? I am trying to get ideas on a new exhaust. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I like mind. Deep throaty sounds with no drone cruising on the freeway.

 

cant go wrong with hahn plus mine sit flush with rear bumper, looks almost stocc

 

Gt was quieter than expected but still sounds good...

 

I've been debating exhaust options myself. I'm between Mpx and TurboXs.

 

Idk if I should get the Gt catback or FL exhaust. Decisions

guys...i have both RFL and FL...i lie to you not...the RFL is REALLLLLYYYYY f-ing LOUD! the FL is much more of a conservative option, the GT series is way too quiet in my opinion. I just put on the RFL last night, and it is incredibly louder than the FL, and the FL is pretty loud. it's got a great tone, turns heads, looks good too. haven't regretted my decision at all. i say go turboxs!

 

What is the GT like compared to stock in terms of volume?

 

Just a slight bit more tone. Not to much... You can tell it is there, but it would never get annoying for anyone IMO.

 

yeah, different tone, a little bit louder, but not much at all. if you want a real noticeable difference, but not REALLY loud, i'd go FL. though the GT is kinda sleepish status. lol

 

I have the RFl with the stock dp. turboxs DP is in garage, nut won't come off been too lazy to cut it off The sound is loud but deep. I like it, I think you will too! I have a video somewhere..

 

dude downpipe will make a world of a difference! but honestly the RFL is too loud for some people. if he's even considering the GT series, the RFL is probably too loud for him. lol. it's whatever though, all 3 are great exhausts.

 

I agree, it was a lot louder on cold start than I expected, but to me it's actually quieter than the hype I was receiving. I think when I put the downpipe on though it will change ever so slightly.

Lol yeah, I was thinking of buying the catless then just switching out every time inspection came around but seeing how I just got a ticket for front license plate not being on, It's better I try to keep the car in good legal stands lol.

 

I went out and bought the gt series and it was quiet even with a catless dp but it does sound pretty good I must say but then I bought the rfl and I absolutely love it turbo whistle all day but it is really effing loud!!!!! The fl has a nice tone to it too. Instead of a muffler it has 2 resonators so that may be an option too. Good luck though with whatever you purchase

 

dude i want to drill my front license plate off so bad...damn rivets. but yeah man probably a good call...just hearing less turbo spool probably. dah well!

Yeah man, the cop asked me why it wasn't on and I told him "I am not gonna drill into my front bumper to put a license plate on top" and the cop said "I understand, here is a ticket for the license plate, try not to speed"

 

dude when i put mine on, building just like 6psi i was like WTF!!!!!!!!!

 

Haha do 3rd gear at 10psi and at 4k it's sooooo loud!!!!!
