Upgrading Rotors / Brakes

Im looking to get Drilled and Slotted rotors for my SS/TC along with a good set of brake pads, any suggestions or links would be appreciated. I had Cobalt-Addiction Drilled slotted rotors before so i might go with them again, but as far as the pads I just dont know =( thanks in advance!

I belive a grip of ppl have the R1 concept premium slotted (not drilled) rotors with the hawk hps or hp+ pads. I just ordered a set of hawk hps pads front and rear and I will be ordering R1 rotors next paycheck lol..

1. Improved braking power - slightly better
2. Less dust and noise - most definitely
3. Regular or Premiums - Premiums

I get a ton of compliments for the setup. Both front and rears are premuim drilled and slotted! Gives my car a more unique look IMO

Have you ever thought about dimpled and slotted rotors? From what I've heard Drilled and slotted rotors sometimes tend to crack under extreme pressure. Just a heads up in case you've never thought about them.

yep, thats why i'm just going to stick to the slotted ones instead of both drilled and slotted. Heard drilled ones can crack.

How do you know I went out of my way to do this? Maybe I have no life and no job, and live with my parents and sit on the internet all day reading forums and looking at ****. I wouldn't worry too much about what other people are doing chief.

Hey drilled and slotted are just a waste of money, they have no benefit on street driving.
I went with hawk HPS pads... they grip amazing and are wicked quiet. like $80 bucks on amazon. Also i went with Centric blank rotors and they are powder coated in the normally rusting spots. They were like 45 bucks each on amazon.

I don't remember the other company on here who made custom rotors for us but they are on here somewhere, but since I don't remember them I usually just talk about the R1's

This. Unless you want to pony up for a set of 2-piece rotors. And 99% of the people here are too cheap or just could not plain afford them.

Only reason to switch to aftermarket pads is less dust. OEM stop amd resist fade amazing. Very few people here actually need more braking power, namely wangspeed and venom. Other than that OEM >aftermarket

Last newb question I got, are the front and rear rotors the same size, spacing yata yata. Before I order them. R1concepts.com lists all the rotors as Rear Brake Rotors, just asking cause the way the products are listed is a little misleading (2009 CHEVROLET COBALT SS, Supercharged; 2.0L, Supercharged; Rear Disc Brakes; 5 Lug; Brembo Front Caliper Brakes: Disc Brake Rotors, Pads, Drums, Lines, Brake Masters)
