The map sensor has nothing to do with anything we're talking about here, no idea why you brought it up.
Just because you're a gm mechanic doesn't mean anything, you obviously have no clue what a blow thru maf setup is and its purpose. Fixing cars to oe spec is one thing, modifying them is another.

^^regardless of running any blow off valve you will need a block off plate. like i said it seems the guys with the turbo xs bov arent having problems right now where as with everything else people are UNLESS the are recirculating using an hks, synapse synchronic or any of the ones that you can recirculate the air being blown off back into the intake. i dont know of anyone thats tried running the tial yet. i bought the tial q because i run tial bov's and wastegates on every turbo car that i own. i have a company doing a charge pipe and intake setup for me and we are going to relocate the sensor and see it everything works after being tuned. hopefulley theres no issues and this will solve the issue for those who ARE having an issue. the only other issue with my setup is probablly going to be hood clearance with a tial so i might have to move the bov elsewhere.should be about 2 weeks before its done. ill keep everyone posted.

Also that is another issue is the piping size is different and im not even sure the charge piping is big enough to house the sensor the maf sensor is pretty long it may fit never realy measured its length and you would have to calibrate it for the small diameter piping.

Then I stand corrected about the location of the true MAP sensor.

How long is the MAF? Charge pipes are typically smaller than intake piping, but I think it may be doable just guesstimating it. I may be doing an intake soon, so if I remember while I've got the MAF out again, I'll bust a measurement on it and we'll find out. The thing is I'm pretty sure this has already been accomplished on a few builds. Maybe they used a custom mount or something.

Hi I'm new here. Just bought my 2010 SS a couple days ago. Has Injen CAI, Dejon intake pipe, HKS bov and GMS1. It's intermittently going from 25 psi max boost to 5. Got it and it had a cel and was running 5 psi. Had code cleared, then reappeared, still 5 psi. Next morning and for the next couple days until today was running 25. Back to 5 again. Any thoughts? Thanks.

one thing u need to know about this, if u do bov, do not, I repeat do not get the ecp tune from trifecta. its horrid. relocate the maf and get a good hp tune from good tuner. ur also gonna have flutter if ur zfr, stock turbo I don't know, but ull need a light spring or run the bpv and the bov. that eliminates the flutter mostly. and it sounds just sexy.

just get the zzp lower cp, it has maf relocate on it already.
