I believe it doesn't matter how many times you replace a part under warranty

No problem and yes it is still covered if you have mods. They have to prove that the mods you have done caused the problem with what's wrong

Their only "proof" has to be a professional mechanic saying that the mods caused it. Ask me how I know.

as long as u have nothing but the air piping they wont void it, if u got the downpipe or tune on there they will void it. or big turbo, or maf relocation. im sure they would with aftermarket clutch to if they could see it

I'm having what I believe to be axle issues and I'm lowered on h&r springs. I'm under powertrain warranty but I think I should take the springs out before I bring it in. I get a bumpbumpbump on light acceleration and when I'm. Kind of half on half off the accelerator. Any ideas

i would take the springs off just to be safe. they might make a fuss about it, a friend of mine had a problem with it being covered since it had springs and aftermarket wheels -______- stupid ****.

I'm sure the lowering springs have something to do with the noise. I don't hav e rotated mounts. The car is stock otherwise(collecting parts to do it all at once). I could see them making a fuss about so I plan on taking them out. Is removing the springs a hard job? Ill have my cousin do it as long as it isn't too much of a pain

had my axle replaced last week. same clicking. should be an easy warranty claim. but i would remove your springs. they will no doubt blame them for the problem.. shouldbe able to change them more htan once if warranty is still good.

He has a spring compressor. I was saying I'm sure the lowering springs are causing the axles to make the noise. Not that the noise is coming from the springs. I would assume the axles might be binding from the drop in ride height. Its a bumpbumpbumpbump type of noise when I accelerate lightly. I wouldn't call it a clicking. Almost like I have a bent wheel but its not constant.

to me it doesn't sound like axles. on H&R's you probably have some bump-steer but i don't believe they go low enough to kill axles, especially LNF axles. besides are your axles leaking? if they're shot you'd most likely be seeing some fluid leaking. are there any vibrations, other symptoms that you can tell? before your cousin swaps out springs i'd have him check the top strut mounts and make sure the control arms are all solid, could save you a lot of time and hassle if something is just loose or if it's not an axle problem...

We did the front brakes the other day and I asked him to look at the axles to see if he saw anything. He looked and didn't notice anything though it was just a quick glance. It may not be the axles. I have the springs on the stock struts and shocks. There are a lot of vibrations in this car and with how stiff the h&rs are its hard to tell with all the road noise. Last winter I noticed a grinding type of noise when making a sharp slow left turn. For example when turning left into a parking spot. so what are some things I should check out? You said the top strut mount and the control arms? What would I be looking for? Sorry to thread jack but anyone with any ideas let me know
