Kind of sounds like an exhaust leak.

 

thats what my tuner was sayin i think, maby i should tightin my DP c if that helps( dint tightin it since its been put on), but y would it do it the odd time? also is there a way i can check for a exhaust leak by like sprayin soapy water or something?

 

Pretty sure an exhaust leak after the front O2 won't do anything to the car in terms of tune if you have your rear O2 sensor turned off for that catless DP.
Possible leak on the exhaust manifold or turbo some where?

Could you have a leak somewhere in your IC system? That might explain the wierd stuff happening.

 

i thought there was only one o2 sensor(wideband if thats the same thing) in the DP?...btw i shold tell u this car has a 30% leak down test on one cylinder, the upper charge pipe blew off under boost before, all rockers been changed before, misfire if u dont drive the car for at least 30 min before u beat on it....basically i wanna blow this up thats the only way they will fix it... i donno what elts to say... but this wierd noise does it about once a week for about 5 mins...... ill get a good vid next time it doesn this wit the noise an all my gauges and show the dealer c what they have to say.... im seriously gettin fed up wit this car, but it pulls like a son of a bitch still

also is sounds like the turbo makes a raddel snake noise at around 3500rpm

Whoever worked on the car said your rings were fine on cylinder 1?

 

the dealer carried out a leak down test #1 & 2 have 10% crank case, #3 has 30% crank case and #4 has 2%, an they state 25% max spec...this test was done 07/21/10....but they dint fix nothin...also rite now aas we speak i have a misfire cel that was flashing till i turned the car off, and i have this vid of it acting funny above....like i donno should i go to the dealer and threw all this info at them...but it was also under a year ago this leak down was done but obvioulsy a leak down test cant get better down the road it will just get worse.....is it possilble they dint have the valves completely closed when they did the test

The one on the turbo O2 housing is the one with the wideband in it btw.

So your not getting any CELs? You can get codes without the check engine light being set

 

ohh okay dint know that....yeah i did a pull hit 3rd gear the car backfired about 10 times like a shotgun (pure misfire) and the engine light was flshin which i new it was a misfire, but i turned the car off and it went away, so its gotta be in the computer, but i went the dealer on the 12/28/10 for misfire and they said the swaped coils wit another cylinder to c if it changed cylinders so maby i should go back c what they have to say now

can i pull this turbo 02 senor or will it be pointless to check it out?

 

Not much you can do if its the O2 sensor but swap them out for a new one.

The LNF is notorious for going through front O2 sensors prematurely.

How many miles on your car?

Also did they swap in new plugs (or at least pull the plugs and look at them) when they switched the coil packs around?

I think you should take your car to a different dealer to be honest.

Does your car vibrate when this happens?? My car did something like this last night, it was idling but it sounds like the rpms were going up and down but they weren't, and every 3 sec it would shake for a sec and idle shake then idle kinda sounded like a miss... but idk.. so weird ill try to get a vid up, and it only does it sometimes.

 

okay scanned it, i have a wideband and misfire cel there was about 5 cels.....so im guess its the wideband and need new plugs, goin to stop by the dealer for them to grab the codes real quick, then come back when i put the stock tune on...so i think its the wideband o2 sensor....what do u guys say?

yeah same here the cel im gettin tho isnt throwing a engine light tho

don't have that issue though, my car runs fine other than sounding cammed.

 

not sure, also when i threw these code i was running a buddy and he said i threw 2 fire *****...ill stop by the dealer tommorw....but this **** does it when theres like someone more stress on the motor then stock, so im goin to bring it to the dealer so they get the codes and come back wit stock tune since when u do that the codes clear...only thing i can think of

 

i donno what to say scann the car c if theres like premature codes.....since i dont have a engine light but i have like 5 codes thrown in the computer
