What is a good tire combo for 2009 lnf cobalt 440 tq lol
I didn't need a spacer. I think my wheels were 45mm offset. I was talking about the delrin bushings. That's why they're solid, lol. Delrin doesn't give but its self lubricating. I know more sidewall = more flex and traction, I just didn't want to get rid of the brembos and sacrifice my stopping power. I use nothing but factory brembo pads as well. The reason why I was worried about strength was from what I understand you drill through the webbing in the control arm. I was scared that could cause a fracture when you're putting down 500hp.
jesus lol. a 275 on a 8" wheel!? lol. im just gonna find a 15X9 wheel to run.
I measured it last night at 24.5". Supposed to be 25.5-26" but that's what I measured. A friend was wanting to run them on his stage 3 gti and I was seeing if they would clear with wobble bolts.
I'll take a few pics tonight with them on the car. They actually don't look bad and the 2nd bolt pattern fits on my mustang so I can use them for both. The diameter just looks a lil small stepping down from 20s on the mustang. Its not just an nt05 though, its the nt05r. Meant for drag racing with a softer compound than the nt05.

damn, so you got a nice short tire for it. im looking now for some wheels and tires lol. just 15 or at most 16 now lol.
Proper torque management in 1st and 2nd gear in the tune will limit wheelspin to just enough to keep pulling you foward without loosing too much time. Unless you want full slicks and footballs in the back 440wrtq is going to spin badly from a dig.
Going through the same issue right now. Looking for a good street tires i can get a little more traction with for dig runs. Have slicks for the track but looking for something decent for the street.
Looking at NT01, NT05R, Toyo R888.
