I would think the list should look something lie this:
J-body: 1985-2005.5 Cavalier, 1985-1994 Sunbird, 1995-2005.5 Sunfire
N-body: (FWD Grdand Am, Calais, Alero, Malibu
P(?)-body+: Fiero, Solstice, Sky, GT(Opel)
Delta: Pursiut/G5, Cobalt, Ion, HHR
subcompact-modified Aveo, Srint, Firefly
Then throw in other GM-FWD or GM-4cylinder & GM-6cylinder cars, and you have a HUGE audience...

Granted I do not go to the magazine stand much these days, but I have looked at that one every time I do - and aside from finding (years ago) a couple stories on Twin Cam hop ups, I have never seen any GM-4cylinder articles... and absolutely nothing on the Cobalt SS

i had a year subscription and in that time they did a 07 2.2 cobalt with bolt-ons then put a hahn turbo on it (its like a 4 part article), and they tuned a 09 cobalt ss but only got like 275hp on the dyno

It was in the Hastings parking lot on Ft. Campbell Blvd. Right next to McDonalds.
