What Meth Kit?

I have been looking into meth and have read everything each has to offer. Which one have you gone with? AEM, AIS, coolingmist, snow?

I know. But I got to looking and dont know what way to go. I was thinking the trunk mount kit from ais. I have unlimited acess to pure 100% meth so. Would it be smart to run the 50/50 or something a little stronger?

Coolingmist is my recommendation.. I got their CMGS controller, progressive, easily adjustable, neat looking guage, and all sorts of extra doo-dads. Been spraying pure meth with their pump for almost 2 years now without a hiccup.

IMO, we benefit a lot from the water mixed in being we are maxing out the turbo! Just spraying a almost 50/50 mix in Oscar's car and just adjusting the trims (no timing or PE even) picked up a fair amount of whp AND wtq! Held more whp to redline as well!

So I would prolly stick to a 50/50 mix.

Devil's Own also makes a kit for the Cobalts.... But I have the same question, whenever I go to tune, I'm getting meth, and I just don't know which kind...

After reading this, I think I only need a on/off meth kit and not a progressive kit. I will be doing mostly highway pulls and drag racing and it says the progressive kit would be more for a wide rpm range like on a road coarse.

with this and a on/off switch dose that mean you are not tuned for it? because it is only on every now and then?

if you run it all the time and tuned, would'nt you get more power?

i on the selectable tune from trifecta. i run with it on for tune only. i dont want it on all the time. daily driving i dont get over 1/4 throttle. only ten min drive to work.

Trying to find some understanding about meth kits. an "On/Off" kit is an aggressively applied meth/water injection and should only be used for track use? and the progressive kit injects the water/meth through out the whole power band progressively increase the flow rate as you get higher in rpms?

thats your coolant temp... meth brings down the air temp. It sprays into the throttle body...welll.... into the charge piping and cools the air/fuel mixture during the combustion process. the engine doesnt cool... its to prevent heat retention in the cylinder and keep your engine from detonating under high air loads/ boost.

Thats what I got out of it. I ended up getting a coolingmist progressive kit with failsafe. It has a meter the reads boost and the flow rate so if something starts to go wrong it alarms. I also got a good deal on it after talking to them lol. Great customer service so far.
