What mods do you have???
So the TC has been out long enough and companies are starting to make performance parts for it. The old appearance mods pretty much fit, and its not hard to fabricate your sh*t. So what do you have?

IMO from what I have saw:
SRT-4 Stock VS SS/SC Stock <--- Up to the driver who wins
SRT-4 Stock VS SS/TC Stock <--- SS/TC should win every time, unless the driver is bad @ shifting

i have three buddies with SRT-4's first one is all stock. beat him by about two cars. the other has some little things done, nothing major. i get him by like a car sometimes. the other is a stage 1 with a intercooler upgrade, bov, boost controller, and hard charge piping. he has shitty tires so i get him till about 85-90 then he passes me, not like a rape, but he still beats me. i have about 630 miles on the 09 right now. it truely is a car i plan on keeping!

Thanks for the repley
NICE, Thanks. My buddy use to have a SRT-4 w/ a stage 2 kit (I helped him put it in) & this was a very quick car. When I drove it 2yrs ago I was leaving a off ramp at about 60 mph, went to 3rd gear & pinned it the tires started to spin. WOW I think I be VERY HAPPY with the ss/tc stock then. I also was looking at the solstice gxp, but it's has like no room for a mountain bike in that tiny trunk & I bet not as quick as the ss/tc, but a COOL factor.

(UPDATE) just raced a sky redline. beat him by like 1 1/2 cars! they're not as fast as i thought they were. he sure did burn the hell out of the tires as i just took off, and said bye! he pulled up to me and asked, "what stage is that thing?" i told him ,"its your engine, with a better tranny, in a sleeper!" he couldn't believe it! lol
Well the SS/TC has pretty good trunk room but a VERY small opening in my opinion. With a quick release front wheel you MIGHT figure something out but it would be tight.

Sky Redline/Solstice GXP are hevier than Cobalts;
GXP - 2,976lbs
SS - 2,975lbs
Both factory claims. One lb difference, lol. Lose more power transmitting to the rear wheels but still that guy couldn't drive!
As far as the SRT-4 arguement i've personally never lost to one but I don't know mabey everyone i've raced couldn't drive. I've never been to the track to know what mines runs stock but sheer numbers SS/TC is faster;
2005 SRT-4: 230bhp @ 5,300rpm & 250lb/ft @ 2,200rpm 2.4L DOHC 2,970lbs
2008 SS/TC: 260bhp @ 5,300rpm & 260lb/ft @ 2,000rpm 2.0L DOHC DI VVT 2,975lbs
