Well lately I've been getting 17 psi peak boost and its staying their till I let off or shift then it goes to 15 then goes back up. I thought its supposed to be between 13-15psi and I'm stock

 

are you still stock? It also depends on your altitude. But stock boost is around 15lbs and may spike a little.

 

Yeah still stock till April also I did just by the car about a month ago and ill check the gps to see my altitude but I'm pritty darn sure I'm at like 800 above

17 is common when it's warm outside. It will spike to 17 and settle down to 15

 

There are a lot of things that affect how much you boost. Altitude, air temp, humidity. Stock, the car will change boost however it needs to in order to achieve 260hp. When it's colder, the air is more dense, and you'll boost less but make the same amount of power.
