whats a good and reliable clutch
anyone know whats a good riliable clutch to buy im installing a turbo and im planing on have around 370-420hp any ideas on what to buy if so any sites to check out?

My vote goes to ZZP Stage 4
I understand it's just like stock in feel and it's great in strength.
KY Clutch I hear has a engagement point at the top so if you touch your clutch it's disengaged. Can't say if this is true or not, but I hear an adjustable rod can help that.
Anyway enough with my hear say. Lets hear what actually experienced people say

I like my exedy hypersingle ALOT! It was hard to push at first but now that I'm used to it, it feels great. Just a warning if you are going to a pucked style clutch... They grab REALLY HARD with minimal slip so if you do alot of stop and go driving you might want to look at a full faced clutch, stockers are really good if you drive them correctly.
For my use which is a 50% daily driver and that is 99% highway miles a pucked clutch is fine since I'm not constantly stopping and starting and slipping it. I also take my car to the strip so a pucked clutch is nice.
IMHO you need to figure out what you are going to be using the car for most of the time and tailor your decision around that.
I am not aware of any stage 4 clutch that has a stock pedal feel... They always require a firmer push to disengage it.

I also picked up an exedy from ttr unfortunately the axles where the next weakest link and snapped last night on the first pass.
THe exedy is a great clutch with amazing feel and grip. Would get one from ttr before its to late,cant beat the deal or service you get.

Personally I would not choose the SPEC stage 3 get the SPEC Stage 3+ it is a MUCH better clutch, equal to the exedy IMO, just does not include a flywheel; can be purchase seperately.
Hypersingle is not needed. I mean i know ure trying to sale and yadda yadda yadda but ky clutches are very affordable and hold more power then most clutches made for our cars. So easy said. ... If u wanna get a clutch u can afford and and itll hold great power ky clutch is he one.. Clutch for 350-400 depending on type with everything but the flywheel.

TTR hasn't said one thing about selling the clutch but i will speak for them and say i got great service and will do business with them again! And saying hyper single is not needed is your opinion i think it is and haven't ever heard anything bad about them except they cost more.
yeah theres just $200 difference between the regular and + so i was just wondering if it was worth it. i might go with the ky but i would like engagemnt to be about the same as stock and not super igh like everyone says
Just a word of caution to people not getting a new flywheel when replacing the clutch... Have the stock flywheel machined smooth... If you don't it will lead to premature clutch failure. A clutch is very similar to a disk brake setup as far as physics go and if you leave the wear from the previous clutch on the flywheel the new clutch will wear very quickly in those areas. Old school mechanics always turn rotors on a brake job to give the new pads a clean wear surface, this is the same idea. It may cost more in time and money to get the flywheel machined but it is well worth it to do the job right the first time.
An aftermarket, high performance clutch will always be less forgiving than the stocker. Its just the way of the world young grasshopper. After you get used to the pressure it takes to disengage the clutch it will be fine. I have never driven a clutch that was made to handle more power than a stock clutch and kept the same feel and engagement profile. A high performance clutch will grab quick and hard, no way around it.

TTR still has them for $999 and that includes flywheel..
