Where are 08-09 intakes????

Hi everyone,

Just wondering when is it that any of the major intake companies are going to release an 08-09 intake. It seems like I have been waiting forever for this thing. I mean, is it always a slow start for aftermarket for this car? Another thing, what about GM. I would rather get GM Performance Parts so I can keep my warranty. Anything?? Kinda Fustrated.

Yes it will. Intake manifold will void. You're opening up the engine and the minute you do that, good bye warranty. Besides, Chevy and Pontiac dealers are gooing out of business out here and closing up shop, permanently.

GMPP Doesn't mean your warranty won't be void.

Warranty's are tricky because its dealer to dealer. Most may know this allready, but you don't have to go through the dealership you bought your car at to get warranty work done. But whatever your primary dealership is... talk to them... tell them exactly what modifications you want to perform to your vehicle... and get EVERYTHING IN WRITING.

I am moving from Michigan ( where I got my 09 SS) to Phoenix, AZ after this winter... So I am not touching my engine bay/drivetrain until I get out to Phoenix and talk to a few dealers out there.

Only thing I have planned for the next 6 months is badge/emblem work and window tint.

Hell, my car has 650 miles, still haven't taken it WOT redline through all the gears yet.

Yes It can.....

Its all dealership to dealership anyhow as far as warranty is concerned.

Talk to your dealership... don't believe someone just because they said it on the internet. Not even me. Talk to your dealer.

Basically, any drivetrain part that is not OEM.. can technically void your warranty.

Some dealerships are cool, some are not.. Get EVERYTHING IN WRITING

i work at a dealership and it wont void your warranty. The onlyway they can void your warranty is if that aftermarket part has something to do with your car messing up and if the dealership is dicks you call corporate

magnuson moss act. no aftermarket part can void your warranty unless it has been proven that it caused the problem on your vehicle. know your rights when you go into a dealer. all of the dealer horror stories about voided warranties are because people dont know how to handle themselves.

TTR is trying its best to release the system by december but getting carb numbers isnt easy especially since it does allow slightly higher boost pressure over stock system.
couldnt wait for it to come out so im tig welding my own 3" full cai myself out of a skyline intercooler kit.
definately look into the synapse turbo charge piping had mine replaced to cracking plastic mount 3 times i have 4k on my car.
as for the plastic nipple that snaps of during hard shifts and heat stress for the crank vent, should be solved with TTR upgrading to metal its going to be way sick the posts from the company are all plusses!!!
