Where do I go from here?

So I have an 09SSTC with CIA intake, chargepiping, downpipe, catback, synapse intercooler, and a tune. My question is what is next? Do I go better clutch or internal or can they both handle it and I go a bigger turbo. If I do that do I have to switch all my piping. I'm thinkin a out portand polishing the throttle body, intake, exhaust manifolds and the heads. Is all that worth it? Gimme some advice guys.

Who tuned you? Just curious... And you could get alcohol-methanol injection, you could get a better clutch & flywheel. You could also think about the Compressor Wheel Upgrade from BTF (Bald Turbo Freak). Although I haven't seen too many cars with this wheel upgrade on, and I haven't seen the real power difference either. But it's something to look into.

If you have the money, might as well go bigger turbo.

I think porting & polishing the TB, Intake, Exhaust, Mani's & Heads is a great idea! Again, I just don't know if anybody has trekked in this territory yet..... But it sounds awesome!

Don't want to be an ass,
But personally seeing what you want to do and the amount of money it would cost, I would just buy 5 sets of tires and go push the crap out of my already very fast car.

Take your iPod Touch/iPhone or a friend's, install dynolicious, do a 60-100mph run in 3rd, go check on some websites for some stats, realize you pull on M3s, lexus IS-f, etc, be happy and now stop putting money in you 20k car please.

I was in the exact same situation, and now I'm happy I stopped looking for more.

Feels good

Louis

There are faster cars than M3s and Lexus IS-F. So your point is invalid.

just get a new clutch and flywheel before you blow the stock one up for adding more power = greater destruction = more money to pour into

I'd say cams if they weren't all regrinds for these cars : /

Are there any cammed LNFs out there by the way? That would be pretty neat.

Yeah I would aim for the veyron: Go awd, get a gt67, rebuild, some nitrous, a couple of thousands in the drivetrain, and why not a helmet,

If you succeed, which is actually possible (I can't find the exact cost for such a project), then you may aim makin it fly

Just having fun hearing you guys with enormous projects on a car that already has trouble putting power down in 3rd gear with just a tune

Sincerely yours,
Louis

get a clutch upgrade with a flywheel, after that start on internals (pistons, rods) and then do the head (port, valves, valve springs, etc) and AFTER that its when you would look for a big turbo setup... you want your car to handle all the power thats going to make; thats why you build your block. and then you also want to rev a little higher cuz a big turbo spools at high RPMs.. so you want to be able to rev a little higher than stock...

now that i just wrote that, you should do it... of course if you have the money for it... unlike me that i dont follow my own advice im just going with pistons a big turbo :P

Why so you can post another" I blew my car up, help me out guys, are these the right parts to fix it, then I will leave you standing for weeks" thread.

Why are you even bothering rebuilding the car to blow it up again?

To the OP, get a clutch and adjustable clutch rod next. That should make it where you can actually get the power you have to the wheels. Then tires, so it can get to the ground

Supermantx24 did my tune and I have some badass tires. U must have some shitty tires if u can't hook up in third. I have BFG KDWs and can stomp it at 40 in second and barely chirp them.

Just a quick question that kinda ties into this thread but i've been pondering the idea lately of how well porting the head, cams, and upgrading the stock turbo would do any estimations? and when i mean upgrading seeing if someone can rebuild the stocker to flow more air not a bigger/diffrent turbo.

He was asking for Valid opinions, yours are that of a child, I mean seriously you contradict your self more than a hermaphrodite. Your building your car so it does not happen again, but your only upgrading your pistons and a larger turbo and think it wont F up again.

Think BEFORE you speak.

And just because the truth hurts, doesn't mean it's someone talking **** to you.

you have power mods but what about suspension, handling, light weight?

You could rebuild the motor with forged internals and new pistons and go big turbo.

get the BTF stock turbo upgrade

maybe start taking it to the track, drag or autox/road course? then you can dial in your car for that instead of being bored "street racing"?

I agree, TC really only needs springs, the stock struts should do, but if you have money to burn get a set of coil overs, all around adjustments.
