If you don't want to VOID, then get the GMS1. A tuner will tune your car for the same $$, you choose the PSI if you want.

As everyone will say you pay to play.

Well you pay little now, but if you break you pay usually more later, but in the end you always pay.

if you want horsepower you cant have a warranty... you will be limited to no more than 300ish hp...
if thats good for you then go with GM... if not eather 1) forget about your warranty and tune it rihgt or 2) wait till warranty is over..

He has HP tuners and tunes alot of peoples cars. He email tunes my HHR SS and my friends GMS1 cobalt. My friend has had quite a bit of warranty work done(including trans work) without even taking the tune off. I do a write entire stock tune to my car for warranty work and have not had a problem.

I think the ones that get the pass, have the strings to pull. That's not for everyone.

Honestly, this ALL depends on the dealer. Using the Tech 2 you CAN see if a car has been flashed, using a NON-GM approved tune.

I have had warranty work done as well, tuned and untuned. Here in NC as well as Missouri. But it also helps that I have friends that work at both dealers.

But if you go in for something powertrain related and they check your PCM and know what to look for they can see that its not factory GM flashed.

I did a write entire back to the car and they said they had to check it with the tech2 to approve repairs, GM deemed it untouched. Jax is saying the same as well as a couple other people I have tuned. If you do a write entire it clears the flash count, as soon as you write cal only over that you show it as tuned. If you have access to a Tech2, try that out

This is true... but it changes the first line of code.... believe me if they are looking at more than FLASH COUNT....

If they know what to look for they can tell.

I'm still laughing at how true this is.

I can already tell you not to tune your car. If it's the only thing you're going to change, something will break, and that something is the IC. You don't sound like you want anything to break.

well i want more power, and everybody tells me the best way for instant power is a tune, i see a lot of stock cars running just a tune, and havn't heard of them blowing up yet lol. just right now im not going to put every aftermarket bolt on part on my car, i will later.

If you do any mods, from what I have been told this engine loves to breathe. So Intake, DP, and exhaust should be first on the list if you get tuned.
