There are many ZZP IC owners on this site and nobody has broken one to date.

Over 100 users of the ZZP piece w/o one failure or hang low issue. We've even offered to repair or replace any unit damaged. Easy to guarantee when you know no one will ever have an issue. ZZP even recently lowered our pricing. What more could you ask for?

ZZP is already working on, testing and running many FP upgrades for the LNF. This includes a couple different versions of HP pumps. This is what we do with $ invested in ZZP. Buying from ZZP and ZZP alone ensures these types of innovations will continue and be at a level only ZZP is bringing you.

While we're showing pictures of low the intercoolers hang/discussing it, does anybody have a pic of how low the Werks street intercooler hangs?

I tried the Crazy Steve at first and it didn't fit. At least, it didnt fit my car.

Genuine Saab was a real pain to deal with, too.

Yeah, I was originally thinking about running it without the crash bar. But my buddy just bent the brackets a little than what I did, and he did have to hack a small piece off the crash bar anyways to get it to sit right.

Either way, I like it. If I decide to keep it, I might actually modify the front bumper slightly like my buddy's so I can get more airflow on it.

^^^^What I did also, I more or less notched out the crash bar and bent the brackets.

I had no desire to modify the car, especially the crash bar. It's just easier to buy one that fits. You're spending an extra 100 bucks to get a better product.

Wasn't that big a deal not like it was a huge notch, barely took any metal out of each end where the IC touched to get it in there nice and pretty. No biggie

My bumper cap is HUGE compared to a Cobalt SS

ZZP here. Just did 12 dyno pulls about a week ago and the ait2 temps were very low and consistant. That just reassures the fact that i purchased the right intercooler for the job.

When you lower a car you drive accordingly. Why all of a sudden its horrible for a huge intercooler to hang 1/2" lower. Know its there and dont go off roading with the car.

yep like ive said 10 million times..... most of the guys wrecking their intercoolers are guys who dont drive accordingly for having lowered cars or let alone dont realize theres a thing called a front lip on our cars even at stock ride height which makes it relatively low. i understand once in ahwile you have instances when your racing on a road coarse where you might go off crack and what not but i cant even begin to tell you how many ss cars i see parked over parking curbs and what not....its absolutely rediculous. i mean even if i had a base model i wouldnt be marking that close. makes me lol when i hear all hese people crying about a larger intercooler being too big.

Heres my Werks, dont have a good one with bumper on right now. It sits about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above the ss lip. You will take off lip before hitting it, Great product

and from top looking down

and only front shot I got
